Job: Plant Pathologist USDA/ARS – Frederick, Maryland

A position for a permanent full-time research Plant Pathologist is available. This is at a GS-0434-12 level with a salary range of $86,335.00 to $112,240.00 per year. The scientist would conduct research on emerging oomycete plant pathogens that threaten U.S. agriculture. Some research will be conducted in a Biological Safety Level 3 Plant Pathogen Containment Facility and requires a background investigation.

Interviews will be conducted by Zoom and in all likelihood the successful candidate will begin work by teleworking.
