Some of what used to live here is now archived rather than maintained. The gene prediction parameters collected for training Augustus on fungal genomes have moved to GitHub, and the original 2006–2007 Gene_prediction pages are no longer served here — they survive only as an Internet Archive snapshot. Treat both as historical: the underlying tools have changed considerably since.
